Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring writer by night, speaker on weekends and this is my website/blog/shop. I live in San Diego, have a great stuffed animal named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

I am an overnight success that took 18 years to accomplish! The concept of Free To Spend was founded in 1993, and has been improving people’s personal and financial lives ever since. In 2009, I wrote my first book, Sex And Money: Have All The Sex And Money You Want commingling the two subjects of my own personal relationship with the financial information that I had taught throughout the years. I had discovered the missing link in financial education… How a person felt about themselves and their relationships was mirrored in their spending. AND If I could help people improve their lives AND give them the financial tools they needed I created a WIN-WIN situation. I look forward to launching Free To Spend’s nationally in 2012 while doing all kinds of awesome things for the community.

Background

I was born in 1964 in Orange County, California. Early in life my family relocated to Montana where I was raised in poverty. (To this day I still thank the Lord for flushing toilets; and good food.) I was married just shy of twenty-five years. I now resided in San Diego with two of my three adult children.
